Book Box- Pets

At the beginning of the year, our center did a small unit on pets. We would invite pets into the classroom.  Children who didn't have a pet could make their own pretend pet.  It was fun.  I have a large collection of pet books.  There are way too many books to read in the short time we worked on pets, but a lot of the books were just part of the library.  Children can easily make up a story about  a pet.
